Etymology
A translation of the Ancient Greek ἀνίστημι ἐκ νεκρῶν (anístēmi ek nekrôn), from ἀνίστημι (anístēmi) and νεκρός (nekrós, “dead person; dead”). Used in the King James Bible, for instance.
